Our Philosophy

The Philosophy of Care Bears Pre-School is based on the theory that there is a sequence to the child’s growth and that development occurs in a series of steps (with earlier steps preparing for and providing the base for later steps) and that this sequence is always in the direction of simple to complex and concrete to abstract. The goals of the school are to provide a developmental, appropriate, pre-school education program for one to six year old and to provide opportunities for parent involvement. Through the use of open-ended materials and a wide variety of developmentally appropriate activities, the objectives for each child are to encourage exploration and learning through discovery, creativity, language development, development of social skills and self confidence, and opportunities to practice and develop large and fine motor skills.
